Van den Bosch wins another bronze medal in EcoVadis assessment

Van den Bosch achieved a score of 69/100 in the recent EcoVadis assessment, placing it among the top 35% of all organisations assessed. It outperformed 83% of companies in the EcoVadis network and earned the logistics service provider a bronze medal.

At the request of various international customers, Van den Bosch has been affiliated with EcoVadis since 2014. Ecological and social risks in the supply chain are of strategic importance to multinationals. The EcoVadis assessment is also an important part of the SHIFT 2030 sustainability programme, through which Van den Bosch is working towards a silver medal in the short term and a gold medal in 2030.

Upward trend in sustainability performance

EcoVadis is a leading global provider of sustainability assessments. Companies are assessed annually to determine the extent to which they have integrated the principles of corporate social responsibility into their business operations. The assessment is based on four themes:

· Environment
· Labour and human rights
· Ethics
· Sustainable procurement

Van den Bosch has shown a clear improvement compared to last year: its score rose to 69 points, putting the company just one percentage point away from a silver medal. This progress highlights the organisation's commitment to sustainability and corporate responsibility.

Renewed Technical Department Europoort

Van den Bosch DMCC celebrates tenth anniversary

This month, Van den Bosch DMCC is celebrating its tenth anniversary. The office in Dubai was established in 2015 to coordinate the global deep sea activities of the logistics service provider. Today, the office has nearly fifty employees and Van den Bosch is the market leader in shipping liquid bulk in ISO tanks to and from Africa.
