Anniversary edition Game Changer magazine

The latest edition of our Game Changer magazine is an extra special one: an unique anniversary edition to mark our 60th anniversary which we are celebrating this year. This edition is packed with inspiring stories, old photographs and interviews with people who have played an important role over the past six decades.

We speak to 'Early retirees from Van den Bosch', for instance. Between them, this club of former colleagues put in nearly three hundred years of service. We follow the route of our legendary trip to the Iranian capital Tehran in 1975, talk to our long-time partner Neste Demeter and take a look back at everything we have transported over the years. CEO Rico Daandels and shareholder Peter van den Bosch also discuss our special company history. But naturally, we don't just look back – we wouldn't be Van den Bosch if we didn’t look ahead too. We take a more detailed look at our strategic direction for the future with CFO Thom van Egmond.

In short: Game Changer edition 5 is packed with interesting stories, relevant articles and shared views on bulk logistics, with all its challenges and solutions. This 72-page publication is a joint effort by our (former) colleagues, partners, customers and the Van den Bosch family.

    Jointly investing in sustainable kilometres

Van den Bosch is fully committed to sustainability. One of the steps it is taking in this respect is to use HVO 100, in other words hydrotreated vegetable oil, as an alternative to fossil diesel in road transport. With a view to making this process as efficient and transparent as possible, we are developing a new tool that will allow us to calculate automatically how much HVO is needed per transport - as well as the associated costs, CO savings and certification.
