The latest edition of our Game Changer magazine is an extra special one: an unique anniversary edition to mark our 60th anniversary which we are celebrating this year. This edition is packed with inspiring stories, old photographs and interviews with people who have played an important role over the past six decades.
We speak to 'Early retirees from Van den Bosch', for instance. Between them, this club of former colleagues put in nearly three hundred years of service. We follow the route of our legendary trip to the Iranian capital Tehran in 1975, talk to our long-time partner Neste Demeter and take a look back at everything we have transported over the years. Van den Bosch wins another bronze medal in EcoVadis assessment
Van den Bosch achieved a score of 69/100 in the recent EcoVadis assessment, placing it among the top 35% of all organisations assessed. It outperformed 83% of companies in the EcoVadis network and earned the logistics service provider a bronze medal.

In the spotlight: new tank containers
Van den Bosch is investing in new tank containers from manufacturer Van Hool. The updated High Volume Ultra Light tank container is being delivered in a series of one hundred containers. The first ten have now been added to the fleet.

Fleet expansion and sustainability
Through SHIFT 2030, we aim to optimise the supply chain in the most sustainable way. Recently, we have made several investments to expand this further in practice. Not only is our container fleet being expanded, but new trucks have also been purchased.

Renewed Technical Department Europoort
Van den Bosch has started using a renovated workshop of the Technical Department in Europoort. In addition to an expansion of 1,200 square metres, several sustainable improvements have also been made. “With the greening of our Technical Department, we are further developing ourselves as a sustainable service provider,” says Jos Stadthouders, site manager at Europoort.

Van den Bosch DMCC celebrates tenth anniversary
This month, Van den Bosch DMCC is celebrating its tenth anniversary. The office in Dubai was established in 2015 to coordinate the global deep sea activities of the logistics service provider. Today, the office has nearly fifty employees and Van den Bosch is the market leader in shipping liquid bulk in ISO tanks to and from Africa.

Jointly investing in sustainable kilometres
Van den Bosch is fully committed to sustainability. One of the steps it is taking in this respect is to use HVO 100, in other words hydrotreated vegetable oil, as an alternative to fossil diesel in road transport. With a view to making this process as efficient and transparent as possible, we are developing a new tool that will allow us to calculate automatically how much HVO is needed per transport - as well as the associated costs, CO₂ savings and certification.

Van den Bosch strengthens position in Spain with full acquisition of Multirail
Logistics service provider Van den Bosch has acquired full ownership of the Spanish rail company Multirail as of 7 July 2025. “This step marks our confidence in the development of intermodal transport in Spain and its connections with the European network,” says CEO Rico Daandels.
