'Online Academy strengthens expert role in bulk'

Over the past sixty years, Van den Bosch has built up a wealth of knowledge in bulk logistics. Securing and transferring this expertise is essential for training employees and new colleagues to become experts in bulk. For Peter van Hattum and his colleagues at Learning & Development, this is part of their daily routine. “We want to claim our role as experts by gathering, recording, and actively transferring knowledge. We already do this in our physical Academy, but increasingly also online. It is precisely this combination that proves to be effective in the long term.”

AI accelerates and enriches learning

Mindsmith plays a key role in this. The tool automatically converts existing documents into storyboards for e-learning, enabling learning materials to be developed at a rapid pace. Thanks to smart AI applications, training courses are enriched with visuals, videos, interactive elements, and customised translations. “Mindsmith is much more than a standard e-learning tool,” says Van Hattum. “It enables us to offer our knowledge in an educational and engaging way, faster than ever before.
