Within the dry chemicals market, we are the European market leader in transport with pressurised silo containers. Products we frequently transport include PVC powder, granulates, minerals and starch.

Our roots lie in the agri-food sector, where product safety and the prevention of contamination are crucial. We apply the same approach within the chemical market. This ensures that your goods are in safe hands with us. We adhere to strict requirements regarding product safety, including those relating to previous loads, cleaning and the prevention of contamination. Furthermore, at our Van den Bosch Academy, all drivers undergo specific training in the bulk transport of chemicals. Our processes are SQAS-certified. We are also a member of ECTA and support Operation Clean Sweep.

Dedicated equipment

Within the dry chemicals sector, we have reached a leading position in transport using 40ft pressurised silo containers. We are now the European market leader in this field. For liquid chemicals, we use dedicated 20- and 25ft tank containers, exclusively for the transport of bulk chemicals. Thanks to continuous innovation, we are making our equipment ever smarter and safer. Examples include containers with sensors for tracking and data exchange, equipment operated from ground level to avoid unnecessary work at height, and heating systems for liquids. Read more.

Intermodal transport

Van den Bosch transports chemicals bulk products by road, rail and water, often combining these modes into a single intermodal solution, which is not only efficient but also sustainable. Around 95% of our transport operations are now intermodal.
