Following the acquisition of Barcelona-based TCS Trans, Van den Bosch Iberia was established. This provided the organisation with a strong local base on the Iberian Peninsula, close to customers and key logistics hubs. From Barcelona, the team supports growth in the region and connects seamlessly to the European network, with a focus on reliable bulk logistics and smart supply chain solutions.
To further support the growing demand for intermodal transport in Spain, Van den Bosch is strategically investing in its own rail capacity. With the acquisition of the Spanish rail operator Multirail, we are strengthening the development of intermodal transport and connections to the European network. Multirail plays a key role in expanding strategic rail corridors and intelligently linking rail and road transport, enabling bulk flows from Spain to reach their destinations across Europe faster, more reliably and more sustainably.
