With our roots in North-East Brabant, we are situated at the heart of the agri-food industry. From this position, we have grown alongside our customers and built up many years of expertise in the transport of foodstuffs and agricultural raw materials. Today, Van den Bosch remains an established logistics service provider within the animal feed industry, with specialist knowledge of safe and efficient bulk transport.
Van den Bosch is certified in accordance with the standards of GMP+ International, a leading global certification scheme for safe and responsible animal feed. Our transport partners are also audited in accordance with the GMP+ standards. This enables us to safeguard the quality and safety of your raw materials throughout the supply chain.
We also comply with the applicable legal requirements for the transport of animal by-products. Van den Bosch is registered for the transport of animal by-products in categories 1, 2 and 3.
As a logistics service provider, we transport a wide range of raw materials for the animal feed industry, in both liquid and dry bulk. These include soya oil, salmon oil, animal fats, whey powder, animal meals, methionine and other feed additives.
Each raw material has specific requirements when it comes to transport, equipment and previous loads. That is why product safety, quality and traceability are our highest priorities. This ensures that every load is transported under the right conditions.
For GMP+ transport, we use dedicated equipment. However, using the right equipment alone is not enough: it's the combination of product, equipment and previous loads that determines whether a transport can be carried out safely. We safeguard this through our systems, in which we record customer-specific restrictions relating to factors such as previous loads and apply the required cleaning regimes depending on the previous load.
We also make this information available via our FreightInsight customer portal. Your dashboard provides you with real-time insight into the status of your shipment, the estimated time of arrival (ETA), journey details, transport documents, previous loads, temperature and more.
