Van den Bosch supports Philippines - Donation of 5000 euros

The Philippines has been hit by the Typhoon Haiyan affecting the lives of millions of people. The number of affected either directly or indirectly is estimated at 10 million; among this are 4 million children. As a Partner of UNICEF The Netherlands, Van den Bosch Transporten supports the victims in the affected area and is donating an additional €5000 to GIRO 555 (national relief effort). This money is intended to allow the relief teams of the SHO (Joint relief organisations) to supply water, food, shelter and medical care.

Van den Bosch Transporten has been a Partner of UNICEF The Netherlands for a number of years.  As a leading player in the bulk transport market, Van den Bosch Transporten is an important contributor to the logistic chain of raw materials that contribute to social well-being in the Netherlands, in Europe and even beyond. A very important part of our organization is involved in the transport of bulk products that are processed as raw materials in our daily food. Because of the role of our organization in that logistic food chain, we have purposefully chosen to clearly connect  to the food market for our sponsoring policy. Van den Bosch Transporten is convinced it can best contribute to society by doing what they do best and by seriously taking responsibility for the logistic services in the world around us.
