AEO-Certification Van den Bosch

Van den Bosch Transporten has received security and safety AEO certification in early March 2012. It means that logistics services provider Van den Bosch Transporten has been acknowledged as "Authorized Economic Operator" by customs authorities and is considered a very reliable international carrier of goods.

Fully certified supply chain
""Our entire system is based on reliability", Toon Coopmans says (SHE-Q Manager, Van den Bosch Transporten). "We find that also our customers require a fully certified supply chain more and more." The business processes, compliance with customs regulations and solvency have to meet stringent requirements for the AEO certification. “Our business processes are carefully documented and assessed and audited continuously”, Coopmans says.

The company from Erp, The Netherlands has efficient IT supported business processes. "The AEO certificate is only one of the elements of the quality certification of Van den Bosch Transporten", Coopmans states. "Van den Bosch Transporten is ISO 9001:2008 certified and has the ambition to become ISO 22000 certified this year”. Moreover, the company, which is active in bulk transport for food, non-food and chemical products, also has HACCP, GMP+ (B4.1), SQAS Transport, SQAS Cleaning, Kosher, ATCN and NIWO certifications.

Practical Benefits
“Our consignments will be fast-tracked through customs controls thanks to the AEO certificate. The certificate is an indication for our customers that their goods are in good hands. So we are very pleased to receive this certificate. It guarantees our qualified and sound way of working”, Coopmans concludes.
