Van den Bosch supports Ebola aid appeal

Van den Bosch Transporten supports the Cooperating Aid Organizations (Dutch: “Samenwerkende Hulporganisaties” or SHO) in their fight against the Ebola-disaster. During the national aid appeal week Van den Bosch Transporten has donated as well to support this effort.

Ebola has developed to a humanitarian crisis. The number of people succumbing to this disease is increasing every week. Thousands of people are already infected this highly lethal virus and the end of this suffering is not in sight. During the national aid appeal the SHO is looking to raise money to help the victims and stop this disaster. Funds are needed for medical supplies and food.

Van den Bosch supports the SHO in their fight against Ebola. “As a leading company in the bulk transport market we are also active on the African continent” explains Peter van den Bosch. “Especially countries in western Africa are severely struck by Ebola and this is strikes us deeply. It is only logical that we would like to contribute to the end of this crisis

A contribution to the Ebola relief effort is in line with the long standing relationship Van den Bosch Transporten has with one of the participants in the Cooperating Aid Organizations UNICEF The Netherlands, dating back to 2011. Van den Bosch Transporten supports UNICEF in their global activities regarding children’s wellbeing. UNICEF is strongly dedicated to avoid the contamination of the millions of children living in the Ebola struck area.
