On 1 July 2006 Van den Bosch Transporten has taken over branch partner Silo-Tank Transporte GmbH. As a result of the takeover of Silo-Tank Transporte GmbH at Gunskirchen (AT) including Silo-Tank Kft. at Kazincbarcika (HU), Van den Bosch Transporten has further strengthened its organization in the transport of liquid and dry bulk products. Silo-Tank has 138 employees. Its fleet consists of 101 trucks, 115 trailers and 124 silo and tank containers.
With this takeover our organization does not only strengthen its position in Austria and Hungary but also in the surrounding countries of middle and central Europe. Through these acquisitions we specifically take advantage of the strongly growing demand for logistic services provision in transporting liquid and dry bulk products from, 
to and in those countries. Silo-Tank will continue to operate under its own name. The present management will continue to manage the business.
Silo Tank Transporte GmbH is a family business, established in 1986 by Mr Eisenkeck. Silo-Tank is one of the bigger tank transporters in Austria and is based in Gunskirchen. Besides its Austrian headquarters it also comprises a Hungarian company called Silo-Tank Kft., established in Kazincbarcika. From Austria and Hungary the bulk transports are carried out both by road and intermodally.
