ISO 9001:2000 Minimize

ISO 9001
The ISO 9001:2000 standard requires a number of things from the quality system of an organisation and the way the organisation deals with the quality policy. The quality policy should be described on paper and communicated to all employees. The organisation should ensure customer satisfaction by meeting the requirements of the customer and the applicable laws. Operational processes should be recorded in a quality manual and work should from then on actually be carried out according to these processes. For drivers this Driver’s Manual is available enabling the drivers and the whole transport to meet the  ISO standard.

When a positive external audit (check by external certification company) has taken place, the organisation can obtain a certificate proving it meets the requirements set by the standard. This indicates to the company and its customers that it manages quality care and guaranty in a preset and structured way. This certificate is valid for a certain period of time and the holder needs to be recertified by way of an audit before the certificate expires.
