GMP+ (B4.1) Minimize

GMP+ (Good Manufacturing Practices)
The GMP standard was established for manufacturers in the primary sectors of the feed industry and agriculture. A feed manufacturer may only buy raw materials from GMP certified suppliers.

The new regulation that has applied since 1 January 2006 is GMP+ and is a further developed GMP regulation. The GMP+ regulation applies to manufacturers and traders of mixed feed, single feed, wet feed, premixes and feed raw materials, but also to the transportation of these feeds. The guideline is related to human, animal and (minimal) environmental safety and any specific requirements buyers of the service may have.

Thanks to this regulation, companies can demonstrate and guarantee that feed and ingredients for feed meet legal instructions as well as a number of requirements beyond the law as agreed by various parties throughout the chain. Meeting this guideline is of vital importance, because the animals eating the feed in the end produce for or are intended for human consumption. In other words: what the animals feed on, we as human eat  in turn; that is why it is extremely important that the work is carried out according to the GMP+ standard.
