What is Van den Bosch Academy?

Van den Bosch Transporten has its own training centre: Van den Bosch Academy. From Van den Bosch Academy all training programmes and courses are organized for our employees.

We think it is essential that our employees are schooled and trained to improve our daily quality standard continually. Not only the employees but also our customers profit if there are good training opportunities. With the right approach competencies are improved and also the speed of our employees.

Three sorts of courses

There are three sorts of courses at Van den Bosch Academy:

              1. Drivers' course
              2. ICT courses
              3. Business skills courses

The drivers' course consists of an introduction course and yearly in-service training programmes. Before a driver starts driving for us he is first fully trained according to the 'Van den Bosch Transporten standards'. Subsequently all our drivers attend yearly in-training programmes to remain up-to-date about developments in the transport world that are
important for their daily work.

Van den Bosch Transporten generally uses made-to-measure software. The ICT packages are geared to what is important for us. A package that completely answers our demands only comes into its own when its users can also use it well. Practically-oriented and made-to-measure ICT courses are necessary and indispensable for this.

Further there are the various business skills training programmes and courses. These must see to it that the office employees at Van den Bosch Transporten have the know-how and skills at their disposal in all fields for which they are responsible. Management and communication training programmes are part of this, but for instance also language courses.

Professional, personal and practically-oriented

To keep testing the teaching material by the high Van den Bosch Transporten quality demands concerning equipment and personnel, Van den Bosch Academy employees closely cooperate with the Quality department. Besides the expertise of its own people Van den Bosch Academy makes use of external knowledge and trainers. We are continually looking for an optimum balance in this.
